Interior Brick Wall Demolition at its Best in Wakefield MA

One of our top contractors recently referred us to a job requiring us to demolish an interior brick wall from an old warehouse. The property had just been purchased by a company planning to convert the old warehouse into a new restaurant, and the wall had to come down in order to provide more seating for guests.

A seemingly simple task, right? Not so fast! The challenge with this particular demolition job was that the majority of the building was still occupied, so the water could not be turned off.  This made the commercial demolition job very tricky because of the live sprinkler system and running water.

To tackle the demolition project, we sent a highly qualified team to remove the brick wall, a bobcat and a 20-yard dumpster. The dumpster rental ended up being filled THREE times! We knew some planning would be required and that it was very important to start the demolition in a specific area of the wall, so that the whole wall wouldn't crumble to the ground prematurely.
